Until 22 February 2019 the Gallery of the Youth Center of Belgrade will host an exhibition by Aleksandar Crnogorac called „TransBalkan“. Through a series of documentary photographs, Aleksandar Crnogorac raises the visibility of trans people of Serbia and the Western Balkans region. Next to every portrait is a biography about each individual with a personal quote, which gives an insight into the struggles trans people have to overcome and the discrimination and stigmatization they have to face every day. This exhibition gives trans people as a marginalized group a chance to speak their mind out and emphasises the importance of understanding the problems they have to deal with.

The Gallery does not work on Mondays.
The entrance is free of charge.
