Buğu Sıla Evren is the Project Coordinator at LGBTI ERA, bringing expertise in gender studies, social research, and project management. They hold a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science and International Relations and a Master’s degree in Gender and Women’s Studies. Their research focuses on LGBTI+ rights, masculinities, and gender-based violence (GBV), exploring critical analyses and strategies to drive meaningful change.
With a strong background in human rights and advocacy, they have worked extensively on GBV prevention and response programs, supporting refugees and other marginalized communities. Their approach is rooted in intersectionality, community empowerment, and long-term impact, fostering stronger networks and sustainable progress for LGBTI+ rights in the Western Balkans and Turkey.
