Bojana is the Financial Manager at ERA – LGBTI Equal Rights Association for the Western Balkans and Türkiye, where she oversees the organisation’s financial planning, reporting, and day-to-day operations. She ensures ERA’s financial systems are transparent, accountable, and aligned with the needs of both donors and member organisations. From budgeting and audit preparation to grant tracking and compliance, Bojana plays a central role in sustaining ERA’s mission and impact. Bojana quickly became a key pillar of the organisation’s financial sustainability, combining analytical thinking with an in-depth understanding of grassroots movements.
Before joining ERA, Bojana spent years as an activist deeply engaged in feminist and LGBTI rights across the region. She participated in and led numerous regional programmes focused on equality, youth leadership, and social justice. This hands-on experience shaped her unique perspective on how finances can be managed in ways that genuinely serve community needs and support sustainable change.
Her transition from activism to finance was driven by her commitment to movement-building and her desire to ensure that resources are distributed transparently, fairly, and with long-term impact in mind.
