Call for Applications for an External Lawyer for establishing legal support
Project: Together for LGBTIQ+ Equality
ERA – LGBTI Equal Rights Association for Western Balkans and Türkiye is launching a new call for applications within the project Together for LGBTIQ+ Equality. We are looking for an experienced external lawyer to provide legal support for LGBTIQ+ individuals, activists, and civil society organizations across the region.
Across the Western Balkans and Türkiye, LGBTIQ+ people continue to face discrimination, harassment, violence, and institutional neglect. This tender presents an opportunity to enhance access to justice and support activists and organizations that fight for equality.
What We Are Looking For
The selected legal professional will:

Provide confidential legal counseling and representation for LGBTIQ+ people.

Support activists and CSOs in strategic litigation, compliance, and advocacy.

Establish a case management and reporting system to ensure transparency and impact.

Submit regular monitoring reports documenting trends, challenges, and progress.
Eligibility Requirements
Applicants should have:

At least 5 years of professional experience in providing legal support to LGBTIQ+ persons and activists.

Proven experience working with civil society and/or marginalized communities.
Contract Details

Total value: EUR 17,500 (divided across up to three years).

Duration: 25 months.

Deadline for submission: 31 May, 16:00 CET.
