Counseling Center for LGBT+ people opened in Belgrade, Serbia

Serbian LGBT+ CSO Da se zna!, in cooperation with Belgrade Municipality of Vračar and Institution of Culture “Božidarac“ has launched a Counseling Center for LGBT+ people, as part of the project “Public Advocacy in Local Communities” implemented by Trag Foundation.
 
This cooperation is of utter importance for LGBT+ community on various levels, as now there is an open space in Belgrade where LGBT+ people will be able to seek consultation or advice regarding legal or psychological support, but also all citizens who want to be informed in any way about LGBT+ issues or support the community. But first and foremost – because the public authority, a unit of local self-government, recognized the importance of this initiative and decided to join the fight for equality of citizens!
 
Starting from 15 January 2019, LGBT+ persons, as well as all interested parties, will be able to come to classroom no. 8 in “Božidarac“ every Wednesday between 5pm and 8pm. The address is street Radoslava Grujića 3 in Vračar, where activists from Da se zna! will welcome everyone.
