We are so excited to announce that the launch of ERA – LGBTI Equal Rights Association for Western Balkans and Turkey will happen during the on-going ILGA Europe Annual Conference in Athens!
Mark this Friday, 30 October in your calendars for the first introduction to a greater international audience of ERA – the regional association of lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex and queer organizations from Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Kosovo, fYR Macedonia, Montenegro, Serbia and Turkey.
The launch will be held from 18:00 to 19:30 at room Olympia at Divani Caravel Hotel, Athens, as part of the programme of the ILGA Europe Annual Conference happening these days. It will be formatted as a discussion forum, while introductory speeches will be made by Dragana Todorovic, Amarildo Fecanji and Antonio Mihajlov.
During the 90-minutes programme, we will present the process of establishing our association, the practices we employed so far in its development, and share our goals and objectives for the upcoming years.
We would also like you to take active part in the event in order to generate ideas, discuss challenges and opportunities, and contribute to the strengthening of our cause in the region that is still deeply affected with prejudices, homophobia and transphobia.
